Q: Is this retreat just for marriages that are "in trouble"?
A: No. Forever Yours Marriage Retreats are for couples that are in every state of health. If your marriage is in crisis mode, we recommend that you seek the guidance of a good, Christian counselor. If you need assistance finding one, we will be happy to help you.
Q: Is this retreat for young couples?
A: Yes...and more mature couples, too! We routinely have couples attend our retreats from newlyweds to couples that have been married 50+ years. We believe that couples of ALL ages need time to be refreshed and refocus on their relationships with God and their spouse.
Q: What is the purpose of the Forever Yours Marriage Retreats?
A: The retreat is not just a time to sit in a room and hear another "sermon" on communicating better. This is a weekend to build a lasting relationship, gain a healthy understanding of God, and fellowship with other couples who share your values and encourage each other in their marriage journey. Many couples make this an annual "honeymoon".
Q: Do you have to belong to a church to attend the Marriage Retreats?
A: No. Forever Yours Ministries is a non-denominational, non-profit ministry that focuses on marriage-related topics centered on the importance of a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Q: What does the registration fee include?
A: The fee includes all seminar sessions, breakfast (Sat/Sun), lunch (Sat/Sun), "Date Night" (dinner on Saturday evening and a Branson show!), condo accomodations, and all scheduled activites. This is an "all-inclusive" retreat.
Q: Are the bedrooms in the condos the same?
A: No. The master bedroom has a jacuzzi bathtub and is slightly larger. The second bedroom has a private bath, while the third bedroom has a semi-private bath or shower. The rooms are not assigned. Rooms are selected on first-come, first-served basis. We try to honor requests for condo-mates, but cannot make guarantees for partial condos. One bedroom and two bedroom condos are available upon request on a limited availability.
Q: How can I support this ministry?
A: Sponsor a couple by providing their registration fee. Make a donation to the ministry to assist with operating expenses. Tell your friends, church group, and family about Forever Yours Ministries.
